Charter bus skiers can plummet or glide down 34 trails that cover 158 skiable acres.  Blue Mountain boasts Pennsylvania’s highest vertical slope, at 1,082 feet and a 6,400-foot run.  Slopes vary in degree of difficulty from novice and intermediate level trails, and four double-black diamond runs will challenge expert charter bus skiers.  Snowboarders can perform tricks or hone skills on one of four terrain parks or visit Blue Mountain’s tubing park which offers 21 slides for snow tubers.  Blue Mountain offers something for every level of charter bus visitor wanting a little fun in the snow.

Lift tickets range in price for adults depending on the day, with slightly cheaper rates available for youths age 7 to 18.  Rates increase on the weekend and decrease on Sunday evening after 4 p.m. Daily specials include Businessperson’s Tuesday, Men’s Monday and Women’s Wednesday, where all qualified skiers receive a discounted lift ticket. College students can get discounts on weekdays, and seniors get reduced priced passes every day.  Seasonal passes are available as well.  Blue Mountain also rents skis and snowboards and provides lessons to charter bus visitors for a fee.

Blue Mountain opens on a regular seasonal schedule from November until March, plus a calendar of special events.  Charter bus skiers and snowboarders can take to the slopes from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, extended by a half hour on weekends, while snow tubers can race down the hills from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, with extended hours on weekends. The resort closes on selected holidays but otherwise remains open during the winter and early spring months, weather permitting.
